Gold is earned, not bought. Here's how to make profit as an Ironman through combat, spells, and skilling.
⚔️ Combat-Based Money Makers
Levels 1–40:
- Ogress Warriors (Corsair Cove) – Runestones, herbs, coins
- Hill Giants – Big bones (Prayer), limpwurt roots, beginner clues
- Cows / Chickens – Feathers and hides (Fletching / Crafting base)
Levels 40–70:
- Green Dragons – Bones + hides (Prayer + Crafting); bury or bank
- Slayer Tasks – Herbs, alchables, clue scrolls, essence, seeds
- Ankou – Death runes, noted food, bloods, and clue drops
Levels 70–99:
- Gargoyles – Alchable rune gear + granite maul drops
- Abyssal Demons – Whip drop + tons of alchables
- Brutal Black Dragons – High-tier bones + rune item drops
- Barrows – Unique gear, death runes, bolt racks
🪄 Magic-Based Methods
- High Alching: Use nature runes on:
- Fletched longbows
- Rune gear from Slayer
- Unneeded dragon drops (helms, meds)
- Superheat Item: Smelt while training Smithing/Mining (iron, mith, addy bars)
- Superglass Make: Convert sand + seaweed → molten glass (for Crafting + resale)
- Teleport Services: Law rune farming lets you skip walking — huge time value
🏹 Ranged Money Makers
- Chinchompas: Hunt and stack for future range training (and save on arrows!)
- Blue/Red Dragons: Bones and hides while safe-spotting (great combo with Mage)
- Rune Crossbow Drop: From metal dragons/Slayer monsters — very alchable
🛠️ Skill-Based Moneymaking
Crafting:
Cut gems and make jewelry (glory/rings of recoil when available)
Molten glass into orbs/vials → use or alch
Runecrafting:

nature runes and law runes for long-term profits
- Use ZMI altar or Abyss for higher-tier access
Herblore:
- Make extra potions → boost Slayer or use for resale in PvM context
