OSRS Ironman Prayer Guide (1–99)
This guide assumes you're saving every bone from Slayer, combat, and bossing. No GE. Just grit and grind.
🦴 Always Save Your Bones
- Do NOT bury bones — save them until you can use a multiplier method
- Collect bones from:
- Slayer monsters (Hill giants, Kalphites, Dragons, etc.)
- Wilderness monsters (Revenants, Chaos Fanatic)
- Bossing (KBD, Vorkath, etc.)
- Store dragon bones in noted form or keep until ready to bank/train
⚰️ Level 1–43+: Ectofuntus (High XP, Low Cost)
- Grind bones → use at Ectofuntus (Port Phasmatys)
- Multiplies XP by 4x — great for early Prayer levels
- You’ll need:
Empty pots + bone crusher + slime buckets
- Teleport with
Ectophial after Ghosts Ahoy
🪦 Level 1–70+: POH Gilded Altar
- Build a Gilded Altar in your POH (requires 75 Construction)
- Use with 2 lit incense burners for maximum bonus
- XP Bonus: 350% — best long-term Ironman option
- Alternative: Use someone else's house in House Party world (World 330)
💀 Level 43–99: Dragon & Wyvern Bones
- Train Slayer and collect:
- Dragon bones (Green, Blue, Red, Black dragons)
- Wyvern bones (Fossil Island)
- Lava/Ensouled heads for Arceuus altar if going Necromancy route
- Use bones at your POH altar or Chaos Altar for double XP (50% chance to save bone)
Warning: Chaos Altar is in the Wilderness!
🧠 Optional: Ensouled Heads & Arceuus Altar
- Arceuus spellbook required (100% favor)
- Cast
Reanimate spells on ensouled heads
- Slayer + Prayer XP combo
- Great for midgame Ironmen with decent Magic level
